The Organic Coloring Book Neil K Garg Elaina Garg Kaylie Garg Books Reviews
This simple and creative book allows children to interact with chemistry in a fun way. This book reaches out to children of all ages it is a coloring book so the young children can just color in the molecules and words, it teaches children different vegetables and the different types of tastes, it provides fun facts very suitable for children (particularly the sucrose molecule), and for the older children it gives them a little exposure to the basics of chemistry, molecules, bonds, elements, etc etc. This is a great book for children of all ages.
Numerous oversimplifications that lead to many pages in this book being plain wrong. I like the idea behind what they're doing- I just wish they would do it right.
I guess I was expecting more? My granddaughter enjoyed going through it with me, and we each picked our favorite chemicals - sucrose and caffeine! She did a bit of coloring in it, but it was kind of a one-and-done experience.
Great idea!
The concept is good but the structures did not distinguish between single and double bonds. This would be an easy fix so as is the book was disappointing to me.
My great-nephew loves it! He's 6 years old.
The grandchildren are enjoying this book tremendously.
The characters and molecules throughout the book are interesting and fun enough to catch the interest of a young mind. I would definitely recommend it!
