I really love Simone's character and the fact that she has a ghost best friend. This book is full of surprises! I also love how Simone and Xypher meet! It's absolutely thrilling from that point on! One of my favorite in these series!
Book 14- Acheron!
Omgosh!!! This is by far my favorite book of this whole Dark-Hunter series! It makes me want to go back and read all of the books before this one again. It is so sad to find out what Acheron had to endure living with his Uncle in Atlantis and also what he went through with his father and brother's cruelty. His sister Ryssa was awesome and how she really tries hard to free Acheron from his sufferings. Even though I hate the goddess Artemis, I love how she and Archeron meet in her temple and how he surprises her! I am in love with Archeron's personality and I am in awe of the author Sherrilyn Kenyon's mind. How she can make all of these characters mesh so well, humans, gods, goddesses, dark-hunters, vampires, were-beasts... It's amazing and so entertaining. SPOILER: I was really glad that Archeron finally found Tory and I knew she would be his love when he couldn't see her future and when she threw a hammer at his head, lol! And the fact that Tory found Atlantis (even though she had to keep it secret still) and an Atlantean God (Archeron) is such a pleasing outcome.
I also love how, as Simi would call her the Heifer-goddess, Artemis is unable to hold on the Archeron no matter how hard she tried. Tory and Ash find a way to be together with his mother's help. I'm so glad they get married and he can finally plan a real future with someone who is not afraid to be seen with him in public and truly loves him. I can't wait to read the rest of the books in this series now and then re-read the whole series again:) So in love with Archeron! He may be my favorite character out of all the characters I've read in any book. So awesome! Thank you Sherrilyn Kenyon! And keep writing!
Book 15- One Silent Night
Wow, just when I thought Kenyon had used every imaginable paranormal entity, there are more! I love that three major characters who hate each other end up working together to save everyone, even though they still hold grudges with each other... I really enjoyed reading this one! So full of surprises and twists!

Love this series. Great character development. I'm hooked.
I have read every single one of these books and love them all
Sherrilyn is a master story teller, the books always have the same theme, man gets woman, good defeats evil, happy ending. There are
different themes, but even with all of the pain there is closure.
This is getting a little too far-fetched for me. In that I mean that it seems like Kenyon is starting to grasp at straws for content. It's becoming difficult to keep track of all the different characters and their little plot lines thrown in. I'm getting frustrated and confused and therefore, starting to not care. Same plot lines, just different names at this point.
A must read. It has magic, ancient God's (Greek and Egyptian, Atlantis), shape shifters, demons, love, hate, betrayal, sexy romance, full of intrigue and twists. You will laugh and your soul will cry. Once you start this series you can't stop, Start with the first book (fantasy lover) though not labelled as the first it is and where you should start. Sherrilyn Kenyon is a great author and you should pick up her other series as well.... I hope you enjoyed this series as much as I have..
I have been hooked since book one. As I have gone through and read each of these stories I've fallen more in love with Acherons character. In this set you finally get his story. Although the author does warn you a bit that his story is a hard one to read, I feel compelled to tell you if you've fallen in love with his character you are going to scream cry and get angry during the first half of this book. I found I was so angry for him I actually had to take a break and I couldn't read it before bed. That being said it is most definitely one of the best books I've ever read.

So I recently got sucked into this series...and am slowly catching up. I took advantage of the three books deal had going and this actually covers book 13 Dream Chaser, Book 14 Acheron and Book 15 One Silent Night. If you've been reading the series you definitely need to get these books, there is so much that is explained in these three books, especially Acheron's story that you really don't want to miss them. Dream Chaser covers Xypher's story. He is or rather was a Dream Hunter. He was facing an eternal sentence in hell for committing crimes that he was believed to have done, only we find the only thing he was guilty of doing was trusting a woman he thought himself in love with. Acheron's story tells of his time as a human and the many ordeals he'd faced until the time he was finally killed. The story is dark and disturbing, but it explains so much about the man that we've come to know thru the stories of the Hunters. One cannot fully understand him until you read this story, and if you close the book without feeling pain in your heart for this man and admiring his strength and compassion after all that he has faced than you cannot possibly be human. Sherrilyn Kenyon tells this story in a way that will make you angry, sad and frustrated all the while wondering how he could possibly have survived all this time and not become a sadistic bastard, and how he doesn't just rip a few gods and goddesses to shreds. This is definitely my favorite story so far, and it gave me a whole new perspective whenever Acheron pops into the story.
One Silent Night puts us in Striker's world. Bent on killing Acheron and getting revenge on certain gods for cursing his people, he takes things a step too far and releases the ultimate evil on the world. We get a better idea what Savitar is and we get to meet some of Acheron's ancient friends that trained him after he received his god powers. It's quite a cast of powerful beings that come together and when War turns on Striker and takes the daughter he only just learned exists along with the woman that was always there for Nick and his mother, It makes Acheron, Striker and Nick have to join forces along with all of Acheron's allies and friends and Strikers ex wife to take him down and imprison him once more. We start to see some hope that Nick and Acheron just might be able to get past what happened to Nick and become friends again, but Striker is back to his evil plans, only now he has a new ally, a powerful one. His ex wife and she teaches the Daemon how to live without needing human blood or human souls anymore, and they can now go out in daylight as well. Things are about to get worse for the Dark Hunters with their fight against the Daemon as they will be left vulnerable against their enemy during daylight hours now.
If you have not already started reading this series, you need to check this out, this is one of my favorite series currently running. It has paranormal creatures, bitchy goddesses and arrogant gods, strong heroines and hot sexy males that will steal your heart. You won't be able to stop reading, so take advantage of the box sets and stock up...trust me you will blow thru them fast.
